About Pharmaceutical Compounding NZ Ltd (PCNZ)
- Pharmaceutical Compounding NZ Ltd (PCNZ) in cooperation with gynaecologist Dr Fenton Bennett introduced bio-identical (natural) hormone therapy into New Zealand in 1997.
- Since then we have provided a customized compounding service growing to be the most comprehensive facility in Australasia.
- We are a New Zealand based company, our premises are located in Glenfield, Auckland.
Our Mission
- PCNZ’s mission is to assist the medical prescriber, through the art of customised compounding, to be more effective in their practice of medicine.
- We are committed to preserving and restoring wellness by providing science-based information, support and interventions to those who seek improved health for themselves and others.
- PCNZ is a registered pharmacy operating to internationally accepted standards of compounding practice.
Flexibility in Prescribing
- Current pharmaceutical care is dominated by mass produced pharmaceuticals, available only in standard dosage forms.
- This limits the choices available to prescribing doctors as they consider the appropriate treatment and dosage form for each individual patient.
- Working with PCNZ means that the medication dosage, strength and route of administration can be optimised resulting in improved patient compliance and health outcomes.
Clinical Support and Advisory Service
- Clinical support is provided to medical doctors and other health professions by our medical or pharmacy advisory staff.
- PCNZ also make available product information, scientific research and seminars to health professionals and consumers.
- We keep abreast of the latest medical advances through membership to the Professional Compounding Centres of America (PCCA) and the attendance of international conferences and training courses.
- In addition, PCNZ has dedicated scientific researchers as part of the team.
- Investing in training and research means that our doctors and their patients benefit from clinical effectiveness in the treatment of the conditions they face.
